V-The Ultimate Variety show's purpose is to strictly entertain, and provide insight on Las Vegas and the early days. The show consists of a series of acts; from talented musicians, singers, dancers and a magician. Wally Eastwood, the shows highly energized and entertaining host, uses his high energy juggling routines to entice and energize the crowd of all ages. V surely does not disappoint, as dancers are thrown into the air, while some widely celebrated and popular acts use balance and strength to show their talent. I was pleasantly surprised that V did not need the six set changes, or millions of dollars worth of pyro techniques throughout the show to make it the great show that it is.

Not only does V-The variety show entertain, but you will feel almost a sense of great admiration for all of the performers, artist and celebrities who made Vegas what it is today. The shows magical number, which includes a flying parrot that magically appears as opposed to the rabbit out of the hat trick; brings back the classic form of magic that is clearly being missed in today’s entertainment industry of over the top magic, and some might also say questionable magic.

V had a way of making me feel as though I was ten years old all over again. I found myself overwhelmed with childhood memories of magic shows that were often performed by the next door neighbor or that unknown uncle that would randomly pull a quarter from your ear. V will leave you feeling excited and have you clapping with enjoyment at the end of each performance. This is a show definitely not to be missed.
