Knowing that I had to drop by Fisherman's Wharf, I chose to have lunch at Scoma’s the next day.
And once there for the very first time, I was taken aback by the dishes prepared for me. When they say
they are known for their amazing crab cakes, I have to tell you that it's true. From crab cakes, to
clam chowder, to salmon, to more crab, there was not a dish that was put in front of me that didn’t
have me salivating and wanting more. And who would have thought that Zinfandel sorbet would taste so
rich and sweet? The perfect ending to a perfec...

Rabbitville. Flea Town. These are just a couple of the names the Downtown San Diego area now known as Gaslamp Quarter was called since founded in 1850. After decades of being overrun by gambling halls, bordellos, and saloons (three of which were run by Wyatt Earp), the city finally pledged in 1974 to turn the district around. Now, the Gaslamp Quarter thrives as one of San Diego’s primary tourist destinations, touting boutiques, rooftop bars, high-end restaurants, and trendy basement nightclubs.
On Friday and Saturday nights, the bustle of San Diego’s former red light district is on par with the flurry of people that congregate in Gastown, Vancouver or on Main Street in Santa Monica, California. The crowd is a mix of families, couples, and groups of guys and girls looking to get...

Founder of Juicy Burger, George Ghaby opened his first premium burger stand location on 6340 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
Ghaby: "Premium: because we use high quality ingredients, such as our brioche bun and hormone free fresh ground chuck. Stand: because we are opening small places that revolve around the burger itself. We are not looking to make it an "experience", it's just a burger joint. Create your own burger style place with simple and basic ingredients. Our fries are house cut and twice fried for a crispier fries. We also

Seattle. Italy. Columbia. They’re all known for brewing up some good Joe. Now let’s add another location- Alhambra, California. Alhambra??? Don’t adjust your computer screens. You read correctly. I didn’t think my hometown would ever be known for something like coffee. Maybe A-town isn’t well known just yet, but for the small circle of people that have tried LaMill Coffee, they can vouch that there is some good java brewing in the small city just east of LA.
LaMill Coffee was developed by Craig and Jean Min with the idea that each cup of coffee should be a unique experience. They based their headquarters in Alhambra...

If you're looking for a restaurant that is affordable without sacrificing quality, then I strongly suggest Ultra Supper Club, which I award four gold stars. Located at 314 Queen Street West, this restaurant provides a dining experience that should not be overlooked. With a colourful rooster theme by designer Munge Leunge, Ultra Supper Club has a very sleek and comfortable dining lounge. The food, cleverly created by virtue of Chef Gaetano Ferrara’s innovative and very tasty efforts, was described as "global fusion" by our waiter, Manny Mark, who truly made the dining experience "ultra." This place is definitely a hit. From one friendly diner to another, don't be shy—you won’t have to be cautious with this menu. One friendly suggestion: Try the strip loin, aged for 5 to 6 weeks, accompanied by a cabernet veal jus reduction. For you seafood lovers, miso-glazed black cod or broiled black cod preserved in lemon with baby bok choy is to die for! Ultra's entrees display cultural influences from all over the world. Perhaps the hardest part of the experience is simply making a selection.

Chimichanga is an authentic Mexican restaurant which takes me away to memories of sitting on the oceanfront of Puerto Vallarta right here in Toronto.
Their mouth-watering menu consists of appetizers, traditional plates, tacos, burritos, house specialty enchiladas, and finest selection of decadent desserts.
It's impressive to watch as their delicious guacomole is made right at your table and you're also guaranteed freshly made salsas. Not including a great selection of world renowned tequilas. To top off the experience, Chimichanga has a live DJ on Friday, Saturday, and Monday nights. The Chili Rellenos is a definite WOW

One of the biggest challenges we face as young and working professionals on a daily basis is, where do we eat? Whether it is a lunch break or dinner, motivate yourself to try something new, without taking the risk of being unsatisfied. You might want to check out the new hype in the Dundas Square area.
Woo Restaurant and Lounge is a great place to go for lunch or a business function. The restaurant seats over 200 people, and provides an aesthetic for both casual and high-end business functions. With Woo's lunch buffet, it is literally impossible to get stuck ordering something that you are unsatisfied with.
